Our mission is to provide high quality training and development for security industry professionals.
CPS Security Services UK Ltd was established in 2018. We supply and advise on a wide range of security services in the North West and throughout the UK. Our unique security services are delivered by a team of fully SIA licensed trained guards and ex-military specialists.
We take real pride in delivering the highest levels of security guard training to our client base. With many years of industry expertise and knowledge, we ensure the right solution is delivered every time.
Aside from our training centre activities, we undertake manned guarding contracts across the UK and deploy fully licensed, highly trained security officers on single or multiple sites for a diverse range of market sectors and clients.

Company History
CPS Security Services is an established company with over 40 years’ operational service.
We are committed to preventing and tackling crime in the workplace and in our communities, providing a security presence ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and anyone who uses our services. In this regard, all aspects of our day-to-day business operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice pertaining to health and safety in the workplace.
Darren Pendleton
The company was formed by Darren Pendleton an ex-military specialist in security risks and awareness, demonstrated within the security industry. Darren’s varied career in advanced security has included:
- Working within a team of international ex-military personnel who served with French Foreign Legion and PSU Slovakian Special Forces.
- Penetration security tests for private clients who want to test their own security for peace of mind
- Marcus Rashford’s security was comprised and exposed with concern towards the client’s safety and protection. Darren monitored the security team and provided evidence of them asleep in their car outside his house. These findings were addressed at club level and additional security measures were introduced.
- Hired by a company in Mayfair London to lead a team of four surveillance operatives to gather evidence and photos, following HGVs to scrap metal companies to prove fraudulent activities – resulting in a court case.
- Taking part in a close protection operation to protect the eviction of Dale Farm 2016 which involved six county police forces. The job was to ensure safety of high court bailiffs whilst they served notice on the demolition of Dale Farm as it was built on green belt land. The operation continued for 16 days.15 police injured and 45 arrests.
- Employed by a private security company to observe and reported of a reported kidnap situation. Darren gathered information, carried out surveillance, engaged with the reported suspects by changing identity and fabricating a story as a door to door salesman story to extract behaviour signs from the suspects and to collect evidence of the potential victim being held at the property.
- Leading 20 close protection operatives onto an Island in the middle of the Thames. The island was taken over by squatters who refused to leave, resulting in Kingston upon Thames council taking action. Darren had direct comms with council management, Enforcement agents, Met Police (Uniform, Air Support and Drive Unit). The operation started around 4.15am in the morning where 20 ex-military stormed Ravens Ait. We arrived in 2 black zodiac inflatables we were also wearing helmets, balaclavas, and equipment to abseil off the building preventing the squatters to climb. Overhead a low flying helicopter used thermal imaging to locate the approximately 20 residents who were sleeping at the time. After the operation was under control and all squatters were taken off the island the team remained on the island for two years to maintain ownership.
- Hired by private clients in the North West who reported and provided evidence of death threats. Darren’s job was to extract information by lines of enquiries, interviewing the clients, understanding them, their business and threat level. He worked with security agents who provide guards, CCTV, Security Response. Offering support via close protection with understanding towards to client and their families.

Accreditation
Constructionline Silver Award is a government-run scheme which collects, assesses and monitors your standard company information.
It is the largest pre-qualification database in the UK and the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service. They look at a range of aspects of your business from financials to operational processes, i.e., health & safety. Constructionline is used by a lot of larger companies/ contractors for example: The NHS Trust, Councils and Large Enterprises.
We work very closely with Security Industry Authority (SIA) to ensure all our staff meet the required standard.
